Victoria Cottage is a fabulously interesting building, part of the renowned grade I listed Victoria Terrace (1833) designed by Joseph Hansom, famous for designing the archetypal Victorian horse drawn cab. Locally, he also designed the gaol (1829) and the Bulkeley Arms Hotel (1832), the year Princess Victoria herself stayed there. It is located close to the castle and green and within easy walking of all the town's amenities.
